Stainless Steel 310/310S Nuts consist of iron, 24–26% chromium, and 19–22% nickel, and provide great resistance against oxidation and corrosion at high heat. These alloys possess superior mechanical strength, creep resistance, and toughness up to a temperature of 1,100°C. With their resistance to thermal fatigue and scaling, they provide reliability in long-time high-temperature service. With lower carbon content, the 310S grade minimizes carbide precipitation when welding, which enhances resistance against intergranular corrosion.
